Introducing Asha Wallace

Asha is our visiting Rehabilitation Intern from the United States, currently doing a 2-month placement with us at Feel Amazing. She is studying at the University of Missouri to gain qualifications in athletic training. Asha has worked with soccer and football teams and track and field athletes focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation for acute or chronic injuries.

Asha can offer 1:1 sessions after your appointment to identify where exercises or stretches may help maintain treatment outcomes between appointments. She can show you how to do these exercises then send you an in home written program to follow.

Some of our clients have been able to learn techniques to improve posture, decrease pain from overuse injury and gain improved range of movement of stiff joints and muscles.

Asha’s love for this type of work came from her spending time with her own athletic trainers in high school, where she gained insight into what impact an injury can have, having gone through her own rehabilitation recovery. She is dedicated in working to help others overcome these challenges, to allow you to do the everyday tasks we can sometimes take for granted.

If you would like to see Asha give us a call on 9412 1177 (you can’t book online for Asha) or ask if she is free after your next appointment. While she is working with us there is no charge for her services. Asha is available from Monday to Thursday between 10 am and 6pm for the next 3 1/2 weeks before she jets back to the US.

Cheers, Anthony
